Provide and the Southern AIDS Coalition<\/a> are thrilled to announce My Home, My Voice,<\/a> a\u00a0 new storytelling advocacy fellowship for providers and community members in southern states!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

My Home, My Voice\u00a0<\/i>is a new collaborative initiative from Provide and the\u00a0Southern AIDS Coalition<\/a>\u00a0that supports healthcare workers, social service providers, and community members in southern communities who are interested in engaging in storytelling advocacy around the intersections of reproductive and sexual health (including abortion access) and living with HIV.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dannie Shaw, Provide\u2019s deputy director of organizational strategy, is spearheading the initiative to connect advocates across southern communities who are ready to take a stance and inspire others to action for better healthcare policy.<\/p>\n

\u201cCompassionate healthcare and social service providers are critical stakeholders in transforming systems of care from within. When access to healthcare is restricted, providers witness and experience those harms firsthand. My Home, My Voice <\/em>is a strategic effort to make noise across the south by amplifying the voices of providers and emergent leaders speaking out about how challenges\u2014including stigma and criminalization\u2014negatively impact the health of their communities,\u201d Shaw said.<\/p>\n
